This privacy policy sets out how Paw Peak Care Pte. Ltd. uses and protects information that you provide when you use this site. We are committed to protecting your privacy and any information you provide while using this site will be used in accordance with this privacy policy. By accessing the site, and/or providing personal data to Paw Peak Care, you acknowledge that you have read this policy and that you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data by Paw Peak Care in accordance with this Policy. 

We may amend this policy from time to time without prior notice. We recommend that you check this Privacy Policy on a regular basis to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

We do not collect personal data from those below the age of 18, or knowingly allow such persons to register an account with us. If you are under 18 years old, please do not use the site, register an account or send any of your personal data to us.


Collection of your personal data

Personal data refers to information about you or information that can be used to identify or contact you, such as your name or your email address.

We will only collect your personal data directly and voluntarily from you through your interaction with us in person or electronically, or through third parties, in accordance with the PDPA. We shall take every effort to notify you of the purposes for which your personal data may be collected, used, disclosed and/or processed, as well as obtain your consent or deemed consent for the collection, use, disclosure and/or processing of your personal data for the intended purposes, save for where it is mandatory or authorised under the applicable laws and regulations to do so without consent.

We may collect the following information:

  • First and last name
  • Contact information including email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address
  • Payment information (including credit card numbers, bank account, email address, and phone number
  • List of products you add to your wishlist (if applicable)
  • Pet information such as type of pet(s) you own
  • Demographic information such as preferences and interests
  • Data that is sent automatically by your web browser or device, such as your IP address, date and time of your visit, information about the device you are using, etc. Please check the settings of your browser and/or device to understand what data is automatically sent or if you wish to change your settings. Please also refer to the section on “Use of Cookies” below.

You may choose not to provide the requested personal information, but it is possible that we may not be able to fulfil your order or provide access to some of our services.

If you provide us with any Personal Data relating to a third party (e.g. information of your spouse, children, parents, and/or employees), you represent to us that you have obtained the consent of the third party to provide us with their Personal Data for the respective purposes.


Use and disclosure of your personal data

Where you have indicated during checkout that you were referred by a veterinary clinic or other partner organisation, we may disclose limited personal data (such as your name and contact number) to the referring party for the purpose of verifying the referral and maintaining the integrity of our partner referral records.

By providing such information at checkout, you consent to this disclosure.

This may continue to apply even in situations where your relationship with us has been terminated or altered in any way, for a reasonable period thereafter (including, where applicable, a period to enable us to enforce our rights under any contract with you).

Recipients of your personal data may be located outside Singapore. You agree that we may transfer your personal data to such third parties located outside of Singapore, as long as the personal data is handled in accordance with this policy and all applicable laws.


Retention of personal data

We will retain personal data provided by as long as the purpose for which the data was collected continues. Thereafter, we will destroy or delete the information, or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, unless its retention is required to satisfy legal, regulatory, accounting or other business requirements or to protect Paw Peak Care’s interests.

Inactive accounts will be deleted after a reasonable amount of time.

Access, control and removal of personal data

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) by emailing us at hello@pawpeakcare.com. 

If you wish to access, correct or update your personal data, you may do so at any time by accessing your Account settings through the site or contact us at hello@pawpeakcare.com. You are responsible for providing us with correct and updated information. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is outdated, incorrect or incomplete, please let us know.

If you do not wish to receive emails or other communications from us, you can unsubscribe from our mailing list by using the unsubscribe facility that may be provided with such email or communication, or contact us at hello@pawpeakcare.com. Please note that even if you withdraw your consent for the receipt of marketing or promotional materials, we may still contact you for other purposes in relation to the products and services that you hold or have subscribed to with us.

Please contact us at hello@pawpeakcare.com if you would like to completely delete your account and remove all of your data with us.

 

Data security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

As your account is protected by a password for your privacy and security, please select and protect your password appropriately and limit access to your device and browser by logging off after you have finished accessing your account.
